Air Adjust Force "Ambush - Black" DM8465 001

The Ambush x Nike Air Adjust Force “Black” is a collaboration by Yoon Ahn and Verbal’s luxury jewelry company on the classic basketball shoe. The Air Adjust Force was originally released back in 1996, and is a slept-on model from the golden era of Nike’s basketball footwear program. Here, Ambush, specifically Yoon Ahn, who designs most of her brands collaborations with Nike, resurrected the shoe to great success. The upper is constructed from black synthetic nubuck. The shoe’s removable midfoot strap features contrasting purple detailing that harkens back to mid-90s basketball shoe styling. Mismatched “Ambush” and Swoosh branding appear on the back of the aforementioned strap on the left and right shoe, respectively. A small white Swoosh logo appears on the forefoot. Underfoot, the shoe features Nike’s sustainably sourced Grind material on its outsole pods. Release date: August 19, 2022
